Patricia Carolin Mai is a dancer, teacher and choreographer. She studied at the SNDO Amsterdam and graduated in the B.A. Programme of Dance at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp in 2011. With a scholarship by the Israel Foundation she worked two years as a dancer in Tel Aviv, amongst others with the Batsheva dance company by Ohad Naharin. Since 2015 she holds a Master of Arts in Performance Studies at the University of Hamburg. Working in the field of contemporary dance Patricia performs at Junges Schauspielhaus, Staatstheater Lübeck and Kampnagel with Stockholm Syndrom, Martin Nachbar and Isabelle Schad. Her own dancepieces NäherRücken and CatanAllay were presented 2015/2016 at Kampnagel, Brutkastenfestival Theaterakademie Hamburg, Salon Kleiner Michel and Lichthoftheater in Hamburg. Furthermore she develops performanceprojects for youngsters and students at Ernst-Deutsch-Theater Hamburg and at K3 | Zentrum für Choreographie Tanzplan Hamburg.
